This is the last in my series on color. I posed my patient daughters for this series and I want to thank them for being such good sports. This last one is of my daughter Alissa posed near my reading lamp in my studio, I'm really pleased at how the lighting worked out and she's pleased she wasn't asked to juggle! Enjoy!

This painting is a continuation of my basic color series. We used to have a few of these Black-eyed Susie daisies in our front yard, now we have hundreds...they grow like weeds! I thought that little flower would make a good subject for the color yellow. Enjoy!

Taking A Spring Break - Daily Painting to Resume Mar. 19th - I'm Giving Away Another Painting -Scramble Coming in April

I won't be posting any daily paintings this week, I'm going to be taking a week's break to get caught up on several things I've been meaning to get to - I'm planning some larger paintings, have several portraits to get started on, etc.

Stay tuned, though, I have a lot more daily painting coming. Also, after I start back posting next week I'm going to be doing another game and giving away another daily painting. This game is going to be open to people on my daily email list only, so be sure to sign-up by filling out the form to the right.

I just loved how the light was hitting these huge rocks lining the bank of Galena Creek. The creek isn't really that big at all, leading one to wonder what torrent of water must have come down it at one time to stack these giant rocks like they currently are? Enjoy!
